Leah Seawright

About Leah…

Alabama based Country Rocker Leah Seawright has been on a steady rise during her tenure as a Recording Artist and remains a strong force for women in Country music. This national touring artist has shared the stage with numerous stars including Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, and Charlie Daniels as she performs and expands her fan base across the country. The native of Fort Payne (home of supergroup Alabama) Seawright has been immersed in music from family traditions and Gospel musical influences. Leah wrote and recorded two gospel albums prior to her debut country album, Country Girl 101. This album had two radio charting singles, ‘Country Girl 101’ a club line dance hit and ‘On the Backroads’ with a video that featured legendary NASCAR driver, Richard Petty, as well as current driver, A.J. Allmendinger. While working on the album, Seawright met Country Music Hall of Fame drummer, Mark Herndon, who came out of retirement to become her current drummer.

Leah completed her second country project (six song EP) a collaboration with producer Jeremy Stover, the wizard behind Justin Moore’s string of top Country hits. The first charting single released was Leah’s raucous ‘Til Your Boots Are Dirty’. Leah wrote two of the six cuts in the new collection including ‘Mama Prayed’ which celebrates the redemption that comes from a mothers faith and unconditional love and ‘Dixie Daughter’ full of sassy southern pride. As part of the release promotion for the first single, Seawright teamed up with Montana Silversmiths, the world’s leading western buckle and jewelry maker as celebrity endorsee for the organization and brand. Leah appeared in Montana Silversmiths’ CMT commercial featuring their fine products and her single. Leah pulled off her 4th charting single in a row with the release of her second single from the EP ‘Set It On Fire’.

Amidst radio touring and performing live across the US, Leah also hosts a hunting show for Trophy Quest.  You can see her in action on “The Outdoor Channel” and “Fox Sports South”.

Seawright’s third single from the EP, Dixie Daughter, is packed full of Alabama soul that’s tender and tough. The tune hooks you from the beginning, written from the viewpoint of the American “girl next door”. She will follow up the release with nationwide radio promotion and ongoing performance tour.

Currently, Leah was selected by the Wounded Warrior Program to write and record a song for the Warriors. “Black and Blue” is a patriotic anthem full of grit and glory. Her eye is on the future including writing, collaborations, and recording new music.
“I’m a glass half full kinda girl” Leah proclaims. Well, whatever her glass is half full of, you can be sure it’s high octane!
